Our rebranding story

Why does a company with a four-year history need to rebrand you ask? Well, the saying that you have to wait for the good things was surely true in our case.

The starting of Zoom Studio all happened in a rush when the opportunity came in 2019. And although the core values and mission were clear from the beginning, the little legal things, like a name, weren’t a priority.

So fast forward to 2023, we lived through exciting milestones, great projects and professional growth. In 4 years worked on over 80 projects so far, reached approximately 4.5 M views, and taken part in all kinds of CSR activities.

There were also challenging times and way too many online zoom calls, which did not make our hearts grow fonder of the name, to be honest.

The thought of a rebrand quickly made its way into our plan. To find a name and a visual identity with significantly more meaning which matches what we do and what we were all along.

So, how we landed on Beanbag?

The short answer is clear: we thought it sounded great and exciting.

But the longer version is: it has meaning to us. The name represents a creative space where we not only work in animation productions but also welcome those who want to learn about it. And what’s a better way to express this than connecting our name to the first thing you have to draw when learning animation – a beanbag!

More importantly, our Beanbag is assembled from all these little parts and values that we collected along the way, and there is always more room. It is an evolving formation that constantly adapts, a symbol of always being open and curious!

For us, the Beanbag Animation Studio is not just a logo and a name, it is also an identity that we want to associate with our specific values!

We’re happy with our new Beanbag, and we hope our customers will also find comfort in us.

Beanbag Team

In this rebranding journey we also welcomed new team members and their energy gave us the last push we needed to make this change. New team&mates,  new ideas and initiatives, but the same core values and mission.

What’s next?

With all these new creative sources and input, we will be focusing on visualizing values in engaging ways. Contributing to innovative, educational and relatable projects that have an impact. Transmitting valuable ideas to larger audiences with our 10+ years of experience in the animation field. With the ambitious implementation of our projects, we aim to promote sustainability and high-quality audiovisual culture.

Also, we are continuing our CSR projects. Organizing workshops and educational activities make our company’s life whole and balanced. As well as creating short animations that support the organizations and the communities we’re glad to be part of.

This was our rebrand story, and the rest is history!
